“At 90 years, we know that every department, every person and every partner contributes to the mission of Jeanes Hospital. Our many accolades validate our achievements, but what sets us apart is our legacy.”

- Marc P. Hurowitz, DO, MBA, FAAFP, President and CEO, Jeanes Hospital

“Jeanes Hospital has always had a commitment to the community. We are partners with the community, and we will always have a commitment to provide healthcare here.”

- Michael L. Levin, DO, Medical Staff President, Jeanes Hospital

Jeanes Hospital is a 146-bed full-service acute-care hospital located in Northeast Philadelphia. It offers a complete range of medical and surgical care to the surrounding community.

Jeanes Hospital began its history as a premier Philadelphia-area acute care facility in 1928, through a provision in the will of Anna T. Jeanes. In 1996, Jeanes Hospital became a member of Temple Health, and remains the only Quaker hospital in the country.

Through its relationship with the rest of Temple Health, Jeanes Hospital offers high-acuity medical services found at academic medical centers within the comfort of a local neighborhood hospital.

In 2017, Jeanes Hospital served more than 120,000 inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients, and visited over 20,000 patients in their homes. The hospital also serves as a clinical training site for students of Temple’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

Donations to Jeanes support the many sophisticated medical programs that benefit Philadelphia, its northern suburbs and beyond – and help create new approaches, new technologies, and new ways of delivering healthcare.

Thank you to the Anna T. Jeanes Foundation for being the presenting sponsor for Jeanes Hospital’s 90th Anniversary and for their support over the past 90 years.

Please help us celebrate our 90th Anniversary. Make a gift to Jeanes Hospital so that we can continue to do great work in our community and beyond.
