  • How do I make an online gift?
    Online gifts can be made with a credit card or debit card through our secure online giving form.

  • How do I make a credit card donation?
    Credit card donations can be made online or can be made over the phone.  Please call the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-707-9459 (or toll free 1-800-331-2839).
  • Is my contribution tax deductible?
    Yes. Temple University Health System is a not-for-profit organization and has 501[c]3 tax-exempt public charity status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.  Therefore, your gift qualifies as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes as permitted by law.  A copy of the letter documenting our tax-exempt status is available from the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-707-9459.  
  • To whom should I make my check payable?
    Checks should be made payable to “Temple University Health System.”
  • Will I receive a tax receipt when I make my gift?
    Yes, all donors receive an acknowledgement of their contribution that serves as an official tax receipt.
  • I’d like my contribution to go to a particular program. How do I make sure that happens?
    If you choose to make your contribution using our secure online giving form, indicate your designation by following the prompts.  If you would like to send a check, please specify your designation in the memo line of the check.
  • I’d like to make a contribution in honor or memory of someone. What do I need to do?
    Many donors choose to give in honor of a physician or healthcare provider, or in memory of a loved one who received care through the health system.  Click here to fill out the online Donation Form.  Use the form to identify who is being honored or memorialized, and who should be notified.
  • How can I take advantage of my (or my spouse’s) company’s matching gift program?
    You can multiply the impact of your gift if you are an employee or retiree of a corporation that matches gifts.  After contacting your company’s human resource department to verify a matching gift option, please contact the Temple University Health System Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-707-9459 (or toll free 1-800-331-2839) to determine your eligibility to make a matching gift.
  • How can I get more information about making a planned gift?
